Senior Salesforce Architect
Description
SYSGENIK is looking for a Senior Salesforce Architect to take ownership of complex Salesforce implementations from solution design through delivery.
This is not a purely advisory architecture position. The successful candidate should be capable of understanding complex business requirements, designing scalable Salesforce solutions, making sound architectural decisions, guiding development teams, and participating directly in technical and client discussions.
The architect will work closely with project managers, developers, business analysts, QA teams, clients, and SYSGENIK leadership across Salesforce consulting and implementation engagements.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions.
- Lead solution architecture across Salesforce implementations, enhancements, integrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Translate complex business requirements into Salesforce architecture and detailed technical designs.
- Define application architecture, integration patterns, data models, security models, and deployment strategies.
- Provide technical direction and architectural guidance to Salesforce development teams.
- Review Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, integration designs, and overall solution quality.
- Design integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, platform events, and other appropriate technologies.
- Identify architectural risks, technical debt, scalability concerns, and platform limitations before implementation.
- Establish standards for Salesforce security, performance, governor limits, maintainability, and development.
- Participate in discovery sessions, technical workshops, solution presentations, and client discussions.
- Support solution planning by identifying technical complexity, dependencies, and implementation considerations.
- Work with delivery teams throughout development, testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
- Establish reusable technical standards and architecture practices within SYSGENIK.
- Mentor Salesforce developers and provide technical leadership across projects.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
- Significant Salesforce solution architecture experience.
- Strong knowledge of Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, security, sharing, and platform configuration.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce integration architecture and APIs.
- Experience designing enterprise-grade Salesforce data models and security models.
- Strong understanding of governor limits, asynchronous processing, platform events, and scalable development patterns.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Experience leading technical teams and providing architecture-level direction.
- Ability to communicate architectural decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Commerce Cloud, or other Salesforce products.
- Exposure to Agentforce and Salesforce AI capabilities.
- Experience with CI/CD and automated Salesforce deployments.
- Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, or other advanced Salesforce certifications.
- Consulting or professional-services experience.
